Star-Lab Planetarium Visit

When the Star-Lab planetarium visits our school you will have the opportunity to see a presentation about the night sky. Try and think of a question that you can ask the presenter.

  5. Don't forget that it is not good blogging etiquette (manners)to say negative things about other people's comments.

Can you explain what you mean about some people believing in scientists, books and the internet? Don't you believe the things that scientists, books and the internet say about space?

  8. I liked starlab because you got to look at the top of it when the presenter turned off the light. The question I asked was what caused Jupiter's giant red spot?

  12. The star lab looked lide an igloo!
I learnt that red stars are bigger than our solar system's sun but cooler than our sun. Yellow stars are the same tempture as our sun and the same size as our sun. Jupiter has 63 moons!!! but we only have one moon (I want more moons.) The closest star to the sun is 24,000,000,000,000 years away!!! The only planets that you can see in the sky at night are Venus, Mars and Saturn. There are many constellations in the sky like the Southern Cross, Scorpion, The Hunter and Leo The Lion. The moon changes shape because of the Earth's shadow.

  15. The closest to the sun is mercury. You cant live on the moon because you cant breath and you will get hot if its day time and it will be cold if it is night time.
